Aaron R.W. Shull
Barrister and solicitor whose experience spans private practice, in-house leadership and public policy on cybersecurity, privacy and artificial intelligence.
Aaron is the principal of Shull Law Professional Corporation. He served for more than a decade at the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) as Managing Director and General Counsel and as Research Director of Digitalization, Security and Democracy, where his work focused on the intersection of emerging technology, cybersecurity, privacy and democratic resilience.
He has taught at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Law, Carleton University's Norman Paterson School of International Affairs and Wilfrid Laurier University, is a frequent commentator in national media, and serves on the Board of the Law Commission of Ontario.
